Palmer's Plastics: Product Testimonials
"I requested samples of the Palmer's Plug. I knew after testing one of our houses that I would not have to LOOK for one more Test Ball. I ordered a box the next day. I was spending more time locating the balls then I was plumbing.
Thanks Palmers for this great Time Saving Device Test Plug."

- "Having used both the Palmer's Plug (in 1.5", 2", 3" and 4") and also the Rip Plug, I will say that these are one of the few products on the market that actually work as well as the advertising claims.
I got a few test samples in the mail and used them one of our jobs. Had to leave the building on test for almost 2 weeks. I went back to check the test and there was no loss of head on any of the 17 risers with the Palmer's Plug. The 4 risers that had blow-up balls in them all had to be re-tested because someone had stolen the test balls. At $22 a piece for test balls, I can buy a lot of the Palmer's Plug and no one wants to steal my plastic test plugs. Removing the Palmer's Plug was simple, knock the tip off of the plug, let the water drain and pop the cap out with a screwdriver. No pinched fingers, no water on the floors and no lost test balls down the drain.
The Rip Plug save me about $10 on every sewer line that I run. At the street I no longer need to put a test tee behind the street riser. I just feed the cord up the riser and run the sewer line as usual. After the test just open the c/o and pull the cord. The plug un-zips and comes right out. Having just moved to PA I am experiencing culture shock. After 11 years in VA with testing EVERYTHING, here we haven't tested anything yet.
The Palmers have a real winner with these 2 products. Thank you Tami." - Mike N

" I received a few from Palmer's Plastics as a chance to check them out. When I was doing a 2 story day care center I had the opportunity to put them to use in 2", 3" and 4" stacks, I am impressed with the way they work. The unfortunate thing for me is that they are not carried locally. I am still trying to get my supplier to carry the Palmer's Plug. If I can't I may see if I might carry the product to sell to other plumbers in my area. When installing them make sure you use a little wax from a closet ring to seal them in your test tee. I put a 20' head of water on the one in my 4" stack and it performed to ideal conditions. I left the water on it for 7 days with no leak by, great invention, IMHO.
Try them Sir, you'll like them. If you have better access to them than I do, you will replace your rubber test balls with them. Definitely two thumbs up, for this product from me." -

- "I have used the Palmer's Plug on my ground rough and found it to be an excellent time saver. In order to get my inspectors & do my yard lines at the same time. I highly recommend this plugs as common tools for ground roughs and two story applications."
